Yes, you can mount the LF2 to the ceiling, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
- The LF2 can be mounted upside down if using as intended for projection mapping purposes. Within Lightform Creator, there is a button to change the projector mode (front, rear, etc.) to invert the image accordingly. However, if you are planning to use the LF2 to act as a regular projector, to watch movies for instance, it does not have the ability to flip the projection.
- We have deactivated the autofocus and the auto keystone capabilities as they interact with our scanning workflow.
- The LF2 "feet" unscrew to reveal M4 mounting points (e.g., for a universal projector/ceiling mount), so any 3rd party ceiling/universal mount should work. We sell a mount that is specifically for this purpose here.
