When scanning in the dark, why does my scan look so poor?

If you take a scan at night, or in a very dark place, the default scan image might look very dark as well, and probably very noisy.

The scanning process captures two images, one with the projector's light off, and one with the projector shining full white onto the scene. By default, Lightform Creator only shows the captured image with the projector's light off; however, you can blend between this image and the brighter image using the "Brightness" slider.

Just select the scan from the bottom left of the application, and then adjust the slider as needed in the properties panel on the right:
