Hello I am getting an error "device version does not match the available version"

I am aware that there is an update bug for MacOS 10.11, does anyone else have trouble on 10.14?

  • This was solved via a private ticket, but for anyone else who's running into this error, the solution is to do the firmware update on a different network.

    If you connect your computer and your Lightform device (via ethernet or WiFi) to a different router (preferably a simple home router) or a hotspot created on your phone, the update process will go through without a problem. The router doesn't need to have an internet connection for this to work. If using a phone hotspot, make sure the device, phone and computer are close to each other. Once the firmware update is complete, you can go back to using your existing networking setup to use the device. This alternate network is only needed for the firmware update process.
