Make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements for running Lightform Creator
Lightform Creator is the content creation software that is included and used in conjunction with Lightform products. Please keep in mind that it is a processor-intensive software similar to a video game, so you'll need to make sure your laptop or desktop meets our minimum requirements.
Plug in and set up your Lightform Device
After you unbox your device, get your device set up and ready to use by following these instructions.
Download Lightform Creator
Download the latest version of Lightform Creator. If you have previously downloaded Lightform Creator, you can make sure you are on the latest version by referring to the welcome screen:
Connect to your device via Wi-Fi or ethernet
When you initially unbox your device, you will need to connect your device to the same network as your computer to update the firmware and get started. Internet access is required for firmware updates.
If you have trouble, please see the instructional video below or fill out the step by step pairing troubleshooting wizard.
Update your device's firmware
After you've connected to your device, you must update the device's firmware to ensure you are using the latest Lightform Creator features.
Updating your firmware requires an internet connection. We recommend doing this process on a stable secured network, and not on-site at an installation.
Confirm you are set up and ready to scan
You're almost ready to get started. The final step is to confirm everything is good to go!
Once you've set up your device and updated the firmware, you should see a test card displayed from your projector like the following:
If you do not see a test card, please confirm that your device is set up correctly by checking your device's setup checklist below:
