I am having trouble pairing my device. What should I do?

 

What to do if you are having trouble pairing your Lightform device to Wi-Fi

 

1. Make sure you are not using an unsupported network 

Unsupported Network Types

  • WPA/WPA2 Enterprise
  • Captive PortalNetworks like you find at airports, hotels, coffee shops, or corporate/university networks that use 802.11x i.e. "xfinitywifi"

 

2. Confirm you have the Lightform device set up the following way:  

    • LFC Kit
      • USB-C cable connecting the camera to the LFC
      • HDMI cable connecting the LFC to your projector
      • Projector plugged in and turned on
      • Projector source on HDMI
      • Nothing connected directly to your computer/laptop
    • LF2
      • LF2 plugged in and turned on
      • Nothing else connected directly to the LF2 (HDMI, usb, etc.)
    • LF1 Kit
      • HDMI cable connecting the LF1 to your projector
      • Projector plugged in and turned on
      • Projector source on HDMI
      • Nothing connected directly to your computer/laptop

3. Complete the following step-by-step pairing wizard
