General

  1. Scan or Publish Errors - If your projector os using the resolution 1366x768, Creator will not produce valid published content for the device. From the control page,  switch to another resolution (typically 1280x720 or 1920x1080 are also available for projectors with this resolution). Re-scan and re-publish.
  2. On Windows - Creator won’t run and will show an error saying something like “Missing VCRUNTIME140_1.dll”.
    1. Please install this Microsoft redistributable package, and then launch Lightform Creator again: https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

  3. The depth/disparity from scans has been reported to not work with various scenes and/or projectors. We are actively investigating this, and in the meantime, if you encounter this issue please try using some of our Disparity Tips.
  4. On macOS 10.15 or later, if you are being prompted with the auto-update within the application, Lightform Creator will not restart automatically. You must restart Lightform Creator manually.
  5. We have seen a few instances of the following machines exhibiting speckles that appear when adding media or an effect to a surface in Lightform Creator. This issue does not affect published projects. If you experience this issue, please submit a bug report.
