Please make sure you are attempting to pair your device on a supported network.
- Supported Networks: 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks
- Supported Network Types: WPA/WPA2 Personal networks, WEP, Unsecured
- Unsupported Network Types: WPA/WPA2 Enterprise, Captive Portal
Please note -- once your device is successfully paired to your network, it will no longer appear in your network list. However, you should see your device come up when you select a device from the control page in Lightform Creator (Control-->Change Device).
If you do not see it there, I would recommend restarting both your Lightform device and Lightform Creator. If that still doesn’t work and you’ve updated to the latest firmware version, you can force the device into pairing mode by tapping the power button three times quickly.
After a few minutes, the device network should appear on your network list again. Another option I’d recommend would be to try connecting to your device using an ethernet cable connected to your router. You can see how to do this here.
Notice for LF2 and LF2+ users (only):
- A firmware update is required to correct potential fire risk and device damage. Please complete the update procedure to safely update your device to the latest firmware version (2.4.1), and do not otherwise use the device until you perform a firmware update. See more about this issue here.
