How long does it take to publish to the Lightform device?

This depends on your network and the amount of content you're pushing. Publishing your project involves both rendering your project content to video and uploading your project to the Lightform device. This is comparable to rendering out videos in video editing software.

If your project only contains live effects, then rendering is trivial and won't take long. The more complex the project is, the longer the render and upload time. Projects with more and/or longer slides and with more content increase render and upload times. 

To minimize latency, we recommend connecting to the Lightform device over Ethernet.

Note - For LF1 and LF2, the largest publish size we support is 2GB. For LFC, the largest publish size we support is 8GB.
